The Pulse is an internet based tool allowing Xtivity Clients to interact with monthly inventory data and xIO software recommendations. Clients are able to view money saving reports; monitor and correct stock outs trends; and query information about their inventory for the current month and previous months of service. The Pulse website is available 24/7 for decision support; Analysts are available during office hours to explain, support and provide supplementary information to the Pulse website.
Reports on the Pulse give a wide variety of information to clients: illustrating past trends, providing actionable reports and demonstrating how clients can order inventory more efficiently. All report screens offer further item information regarding part usage, client data from their systems and xIO recommendations.
Big Picture Reports demonstrate where inventory is situated at the end of the month. Current investment statistics are displayed to show how inventory is affecting dollar investment and movement and how adopting xIO recommendations would increase and decrease investment. The two main aspects displayed are how non-moving inventory is tying up client investment and how inventory would change if xIO recommendations were adopted.
Stock Out Reports show items that create and have the potential to create stock out risk within MRO inventory. There are actionable reports suggesting proactive steps to stop stock-outs before they occur; and reactionary reports that breakdown why stock outs happen and offer suggestions on how to stop stock out events from happening in the future.
Money Saving Reports offer solutions for clients who are overinvesting in their MRO inventory. There are proactive and reactive reports that demonstrate what storerooms can do to save money, recover investment and present inventory items that are tying up investment. The xIO presents problems such as: excess supply, current purchase orders and underutilized inventory along with solutions to these problems. Saving your company both time and money upon execution of the solutions offered.
Comparison Query Report Builders compare the client computerized system values to the values recommended by the xIO. This provides clients with an excellent chance to look at differences between values and pinpoint items with large differences.
Base Month Comparisons compares data from the client’s starting month (or base month) to the current month’s data. These reports provide good indication of changes starting with Xtivity’s services and progression towards MRO Inventory goals. The information in these reports includes changes in: investment, items, demand for items and stock outs.
Supplementary Information Windows gives the client other opportunities to view their data and how it is managed by the xIO. They are able to view parameters that are customizable to their needs as a plant. Clients have the option of searching for individual items to find suggested quantities, and look further into usage of items, or view changes across data periods.
